描述

Flail knives or Chopper blades are key working parts of agricultural straw shredders and returning machines. They are also called shredding knives or hammer blades.
Most flail knives are double‑edged, thick and wear‑resistant. Driven by a high‑speed rotating shaft, they beat and cut crop straw, corn stalks and weeds into small pieces.
Different from the reciprocating moving blades on the header of harvesters (which cut crops back and forth with fixed blades and guards), flail knives work in a high‑speed rotating way without guards or stationary knives.
They are widely used in combine harvesters, straw returning machines and grass choppers to smash residues for returning to farmland.
